The top of the page says how your pages are looked after. Articles Gofylo writes are checked on your improvement days, when auto-improve is on and Search Console is connected, and rewritten when Search Console shows they nearly reach page one. Your other pages are never changed: when one is listed here, it comes with what to change, and you make the edit.
Pages to refresh
Each row is one of your own pages and the search it already covers. When a keyword in your plan turns out to be covered by one of your pages, it is listed here instead of becoming a second article that competes with it.
- Click Write the update brief on a row.
- Read what the pages that rank for that search have and your page doesn't: the sections they share, the questions nobody answers yet, the length, and pages of yours worth linking from it.
- Make the changes on your page, then click Done. Click Skip to remove a row you don't want.
Note
Nothing is changed on your page from here. The edit is yours to make.
Competing pages
These are searches where two or more of your pages show up in Google. Google usually ranks one of them, and the others split its attention. Each row names the page to keep and what to do with the other one.
This list needs Search Console connected for the site, and fills in over the nights after you connect it.
Your own articles
Whether one of your articles can be improved automatically shows in the article's sidebar, under After publishing: when it is checked, or what to do first, such as connecting Search Console or turning on auto-improve in Content > Settings.
