Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when Gofylo offers refunds. It applies to your subscription to Gofylo, the autonomous SEO/GEO content engine operated by Gofylo Technologies Private Limited ("Gofylo," "we," "us"). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service (the "Refunds & Cancellations" section) and our Privacy Policy.
The short version
- Subscriptions are non-refundable as a general rule.
- The one goodwill exception: if you are a first-time subscriber, you may request a refund of your first payment within 7 days of that first charge — one per customer.
- The temporary $1 card-verification charge is automatically refunded.
- We do not refund renewals or any partial billing periods.
- You can cancel anytime to stop future charges. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- If you are an EU/UK consumer, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, but it ends once the Service begins because you request immediate access at checkout (see "EU/UK consumers: 14-day cooling-off right" below).
Your free trial
Every subscription starts with a free trial that requires a valid payment method. This is your risk-free window to evaluate Gofylo. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. We recommend using the trial to decide whether Gofylo is right for you. We will remind you by email before your trial converts.
The $1 card-verification charge
When you sign up, you may see a temporary $1 card-verification charge. This is only used to confirm your card is valid. It is automatically refunded (reversed) and is not a payment for the Service. It does not count as your "first payment" for the 7-day exception below.
General rule: subscriptions are non-refundable
Except as expressly stated in this policy, and except where a non-waivable consumer right applies, all subscription fees are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for renewals, partial billing periods, unused time, or articles you did not generate. Because the free trial gives you full access to evaluate the Service before any charge, all subscription fees are final and non-refundable except as set out in this policy or as required by applicable law.
The one exception: first payment within 7 days
As a one-time goodwill courtesy, if you are a first-time subscriber, you may request a refund of your first payment (the amount charged for your plan when your free trial ends) if you ask within 7 days of that first charge.
- This applies only to your first payment, and only once per customer.
- It does not apply to any renewal or subsequent charge.
- To request it, email support@gofylo.io from the email address on your account, within the 7-day window.
No refunds on renewals or partial periods
Your subscription renews automatically each billing period. Renewal charges and all charges after your first payment are non-refundable. We also do not refund partial billing periods. To avoid being charged for a renewal, cancel before your renewal date (see below).
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel anytime from your account settings. When you cancel:
- You will not be billed again — there are no future charges.
- Your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
- We do not prorate or refund the remainder of the current period.
EU/UK consumers: 14-day cooling-off right
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
However, because the Service provides immediate digital access, when you start your subscription or trial you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the Service begins. This consent is captured at checkout, which is operated by Dodo Payments as our Merchant of Record. Where you have given that consent and acknowledgment, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply, and the no-refund rule and 7-day first-payment courtesy above govern instead.
Mandatory local consumer rights still apply where they cannot be waived. Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country or state.
How refunds are processed
Gofylo uses Dodo Payments as its Merchant of Record. Dodo handles checkout, billing, and payments, and processes any approved refund to your original payment method.
Once a refund is approved, the time it takes to appear in your account depends on Dodo and your bank or card issuer — typically 5–10 business days. Any applicable taxes are handled by Dodo as part of the refund.

If you have a billing question or believe you are entitled to a refund under this policy, please email us first at support@gofylo.io before contacting your bank or filing a chargeback. We want the chance to make things right. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account.
This Refund Policy is consistent with the "Refunds & Cancellations" section of our Terms of Service. If you are a consumer, you may have additional rights under the laws of your country or state that this policy does not limit.
